SCO Open Server Release 5.0 and the Seagate ATAPI Driver
Installation Instructions

NOTE:  You will need to know if the IDE tape drive (CTT8000-A) 
is a master or a slave.  Make sure that the IDE port that you 
are hooking the drive up to is enabled.

1)      Use 'doscp' to copy all files that unzipped with this readme
        to:  /etc/conf/pack.d/wd
2)      Make sure there are no users on the system. (Go into single
        user mode if you need to)
3)      From a # prompt type:  mkdev tape   and press <Enter>.
4)      Choose '1' - Configure SCSI tape drive.
5)      Choose '1' - Install a SCSI tape drive. 
6)      Enter the prefix of the host adapter as:  wd
7)      Will prompt for which wd host adapter:
                        0 = 1f0, 14 (primary)
                        1 = 170, 15 (secondary)
8)      What SCSI bus is this device attached to? Use default of 0.
9)      What is the target ID?  0 = master,  1 = slave
10)     What is the LUN?  Use default of 0.
11)     Enter vendor ID string... Press <Return> for default.
12)     Enter SCSI version...  Press <Return> for default.
13)     Enter Response Data Format... Press <Return> for default.
14)     Choose '5' for QIC Cartridge tape drive.
15)     Enter 'q' to leave current string as is.
16)     Enter 'q' to return to main menu.
17)     Enter 'q' to quit.
18)     Enter 'y' to create a new kernel now.

Once the kernel has relinked down the system and bring it back up.
If you have another tape drive installed on the system you will have 
to change this drive to the default in order to use the tape commands.
